Power flushing across North Yorkshire & Teesside

Clear the sludge behind cold spots, noisy boilers and slow-warming radiators, and get your heating working properly again.

About this service

What power flushing does

Over time, sludge, rust and debris build up inside a central heating system. That build-up settles in radiators and pipework, which is what causes cold spots, slow-warming rooms and a boiler that bangs or kettles. Power flushing pushes clean water and cleaner through the system at force to shift it, so the water can circulate freely again.

We flush gas, LPG and oil systems for both homes and businesses across North Yorkshire, Teesside and the North East.

Signs your system may need it

Radiators cold at the bottom or in patches
Rooms slow to warm up
Some radiators cold while others are hot
Banging or kettling noises from the boiler
Dirty or black water when you bleed a radiator
Heating not feeling as efficient as it used to

FAQs

Power flushing, your questions answered

What is power flushing?

It's a process that pushes clean water and cleaner through your central heating at force to clear out sludge and debris, so the system can circulate freely again.

Do I definitely need one?

Not always. We'll check the system first and tell you honestly whether a flush is the right fix or whether something else is going on.

Will it help my cold radiators?

If the cold spots are caused by sludge build-up, a flush usually helps. We'll confirm the cause before recommending it.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the size of the system. We give you a clear price before any work goes ahead.

Heating not performing?

Tell us what it's doing and we'll let you know whether a power flush is the answer.
